Comprehensive Assessment
A comprehensive assessment is essential, whether you are advocating for increased school-based supports, tracking your child's progress as they develop, or gathering information for yourself to better understand and empower your child.

At Playful Minds, we believe in the value of every child. Your child is an individual, and so the assessment process at Playful Minds is adaptable and flexible to help capture not just the areas where your child needs support, but also those areas where they thrive.

Playful Minds understands that in the current context amid COVID concerns, in-person assessment may not always be possible. We readily offer remote assessment via tools approved for this purpose. Please contact Playful Minds for more information.

Teletherapy and Video Conferencing
Playful Minds Occupational Therapy proudly offers teletherapy and family consultations through a secure, HIPAA-compliant online platform. Â
Please contact Playful Minds to discuss options.

Flexible In-Person Treatment
Playful Minds knows the value of context on your child’s and your family’s occupations, and we are fortunate to provide occupational therapy services in a variety of contexts and settings, depending on what best suits the client. This may mean addressing dressing skills and self-care in your home, practicing meal-planning at your local grocery store, addressing self-regulation and turn-taking at your neighborhood playground, or working through handwriting challenges at our home office in downtown Westminster. Regardless of where your child needs to be seen, we can meet them there.

Additional therapist travel fees may apply. Please contact Playful Minds for more information.

Parent and Family Consultation

No one knows your child as well as you do. It can be heartbreaking to watch your child struggle, or hear them share that they are unhappy. Having a place to work out challenges and brainstorm sensory and environmental supports can be invaluable. Playful Minds knows this and offers parent and family consultations alongside treatment for your child.
